Value-Centered Managment is a fresh business application that has proven to work!!
This book is an EXCELLENT BOOK! I received my book last week and I have not been able to put it down! Parker explores what value means to our customers/clients and makes us begin to question if what we are delivering is what they want vs. what we "think" they want. Through this easy to read story, he invites us to learn of a FRESH & FORWARD thinking business concept called Value-Centered Management that is helping businesses everyday achieve success through customer value and build stronger business teams that can deliver. This is a real story that makes PRACTICAL sense in ANY ASPECT of business!! I would suggest this book to anyone who is looking to keep improving their professional careers or businesses, and even their personal lives to be more successful!! WELL DONE! WELL DONE!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wish List
I wish every business contact would embrace the philosophy of this book. It's a Great storyline, easy read (hard to stop once you start), enlightening, respectful, motivating and encouraging ~ yes, all that! In current economic times, change is eminent. Ironically though where the Benefits of change are welcomed, the Burden of knowing How, What and When to change are not. "Who Said So?" provides keen insights to approach everyday work in ways that almost effortlessly identify areas of excess and areas of need while empowering the current workforce to do more with less. Principles in this book have helped me and those I work for/with to succeed while facing very challenging times ~ I keep a copy visible and at my desk for easy reference.

Practical application for ordering and streamlining your business
This book is one of the first business theory books I've read, with real practical examples of the application of the principles of lean management, including possible shortfalls and how to overcome them. The author discusses the principles in language that is easy to understand, and then shows not only how it is applied to a functioning business, but also the affect those changes may have on both customer and employee attitude and resulting productivity. It is a fresh and innovative perspective on the way we ought to think about and conduct business overall.

This book has helped me drill down to the really critical areas of business. In the current economy, it is more important than ever to focus on what really produces results- Mr. Parker has managed to peel back a number of unnecessary, non-value adding layers, and reveal the essence of growing a business.
